For those of you who are curious about Beleth's appearance changing, in the Goetia it states that Beleth's first form when being summoned is quite fearful. When the summoner is successful, Beleth takes the form the cast finds most desirable. Since Janus has no basis on this, Beleth returns to his original visage when they first meet.
